The team hopes to raise up to and beyond the sum of £300,000.

Our Web Team have worked with Paul, Nick, Hector and Matt to help with donations and market their team as they are competing to overcome some of the most extreme conditions known to man, which will be a true test of strength; both physical and mental. During the crossing, the boat will be completely at the mercy of the ocean, whilst extreme winds, Atlantic storms and sunstroke all pose equal threats.

The race will be for charity for Pencils of Promise. In completing this event, the team hopes to raise up to and beyond the sum of £300,000.

The idea that these funds will be to help with building and maintenance of 10 schools in undeveloped parts of the third world.

The event started in 1966 Atlantic crossing by British Paratroopers Chay Blyth and John Ridgway. Taking a total of 92 days, the adventure lead them through hurricanes, 50+ ft waves and hunger to the point of famine.

The current race & world record is held at 35 days, 13, however the ‘NautiBuoys’ intend to beat this record.
